We celebrated 30 wonderful years of marriage this November. We feel very blessed to have 5 wonderful children, 2 fantastic son-in-laws and 3 beautiful and delightful grandchildren. We feel the blessings of the gospel in our life and are grateful for this time of year when we can reflect upon the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ and think about the many friends and family who have influenced our lives for good. We wish each of you a peaceful and happy New Year.

Summer events

This last July our family had the opportunity to visit some Church history sites in Missouri and Illnois. Jay's parents were serving a mission in the Nauvoo temple. It was a delightful vacation.
Also in July, we were able to attend the Lomita Ward 50th year reunion. We were able to see and visit with many friends that we hadn't seen for 30 years. It was an opportunity for JoAnn's family to reunite. If you want to visit or add your own bio and pictures to the Lomita Ward Youth Reunion website and see many familiar faces go to www.lwyr2007.com

Sacramento, California

Tyler is serving a mission in Sacramento, California. He has been out for 15 months. He's had the opportunity to serve in several areas and get to know many wonderful people. He's been on a bike for most of the time. When we spoke with him on Christmas, he mentioned that he is recovering from bronchitis and a sinus infection. The Lord has watched over him. The members have been extremely conscience of his health and have helped in his recovery. We are grateful for faithful members who love the Lord's missionaries.

Lisa at Snow!

Lisa turned 18 and graduated from high school. She worked her last semester of school and through the summer. She is such a fun girl. She loves her independence as she attends Snow college in Ephraim, Utah. We enjoy her when she comes home on some weekends. She is learning to do laundry, cook for one person and balancing her busy social life with school work.

Bradley is 16!

Bradley loves this time of year as he loves to snow ski. He turned 16 this month and will soon be the proud owner of a Utah Drivers license. After the Christmas break he'll start playing on the Timpview Lacrosse team. We love having him at home and I think he enjoys being the "only child".

Ryan & Amber Kelly

Ryan and Amber are still in Dutch John enjoying their life. Ryan celebrated his 30th birthday this year. We went out to Flaming Gorge and took everyone skiing and wakeboarding. We all had so much fun together. Ryan went to Alaska with a client to fish for really big trout, and he succeded. Ryan and Amber spent a week in the fall in Southern California visiting family and taking Josie to the Zoo and Sea World. What fun! Paul & Cyndi Ordyna

Cyndi and Paul had Irish twins last December. David Paul joined the family one day shy of Eden's first birthday. JoAnn was able to witness the birth and Grandpa Jay just happened to be there moments after David arrived.
Eden and David are the best of friends. They play and laugh together.

Paul & Cyndi moved to Oxford, Mississippi this summer where Paul started Law School at Ole Miss. After surviving the August heat and the first semester of Law School they feel like they can accomplish anything! They have made great friends. They feel so blessed and love life.
